Anantnag, Dec 24 (KF): A woman lost her life and two others were injured in a road accident in the Bumthan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Reports reaching Kashmir First News indicate that the accident occurred at Bomthan Bridge near Mirbazar when a Tata Magic vehicle collided with a Creta. The collision claimed the life of a woman identified as Haseena (45), while two others sustained injuries.
The injured were rushed to GMC Anantnag, where Haseena was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (KF)
