Woman Dies, Son Injured in Ganderbal Road Accident

Srinagar July 19: In a tragic road accident on the Srinagar-Kargil highway near PTS Manigam in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, a woman lost her life and her son sustained injuries.

The mishap occurred on Friday when their scooter collided with a truck.

The woman has been identified as Aasha Begum wife of Ghulam Mohammad Lone of Hakeem Gund, Gandarbal.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the injured boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision. (KNS)
