Water supply to remain shut in Anantnag town, adjoining areas for three days

Anantnag, Feb 15 (KF): Various areas of Anantnag town will face a water supply cut for the days, officials said.

In a statement issued to Kashmir First, Public Health Engineering Department of Jammu Kashmir said that the department is carrying out some essential repair works due to which water supply will be cut for 17th, 18th and 19th February.

The water supply shall remain shut to entire Anantnag Town and it’s adjoining areas like Ashajipora, Moominabad, Dabruna, Hernag, Khandipari, Danter, Pushwara, Batengoo, Urenhal etc on 17th, 18th and 19th of February.

“In order to carry out the urgent repairs of Pipe network at various locations in Anantnag town, the water supply from Bumzoo Filtration Plant.

General Public is requested to store adequate drinking water in advance for it’s use during the shut down period.
