Terrorist Attack in Bijbehara: Non-local Resident shot dead

Srinagar, April 17: In a distressing incident of targeted violence, a non-local resident hailing from Bihar, identified as Raja Shah, was fired upon by terrorists in Jablipora, Bijbehara.

The victim sustained injuries to his right side neck and abdomen in the attack and was promptly rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Reports reaching Srinagar based news agency KDC said Raja Shah, son of Shankar Shah and a resident of Bihar, had been residing in Jablipora, specifically at Bilal Colony in Wender, at the time of the incident.

The attack, which occurred in the evening has sent shockwaves through the community and raised concerns about the safety of non-local residents in the region.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene following the shooting, providing immediate medical aid to Raja Shah before transferring him to a nearby hospital for further treatment. however he succumbed to his injuries at hospital

Local authorities have cordoned off the area as they launch an investigation into the incident.

The motives behind the attack are yet to be determined, but initial reports suggest the involvement of terrorist elements targeting non-local residents in the area.
