Srinagar, April 12: A bus carrying students met with an accident near Vodpora area of north Kashmir’s Handwara on Saturday.
Officials said that a bus carrying students for a picnic lost its control and turned turtle near Vodpora.
Meanwhile, a team of police and locals have reached the spot, and a rescue operation is underway.
Medical Superintendent DH Handwara, Dr Ajaz Ahmad Bhat said a girl student was brought dead to the facility while fifteen to sixteen were admitted to the hospital with injuries. Among the injured, two were critical who were referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment. (GNS)
