Shabaan Crescent Sighted, Shab-e-Baraat to Be Observed on Feb 14: Grand Mufti

Srinagar, Jan 30: The crescent of the month of Shabaan has been sighted, confirming that Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on 14th February, friday.

Grand Mufti J&K, Nasir-ur-Islam confirmed the sighting of the crescent and officially announced the date for the auspicious night, news agency JKNS reported.

“The crescent has been sighted, and Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on 14th February that is friday,” they said.

The holy night of Shab-e-Baraat holds great significance for Muslims, as it is a time of prayer, seeking forgiveness, and reflecting on one’s deeds.
