Renowned Kashmiri Artist ‘Nab Baand’ Dies at 57

Kulgam, Oct 02 (KF): Well-known Singer from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, who was very famous for his sweet & melodious voice died today at SKIMS Srinagar.

57-year-old Ghulam Nabi Bhat (Bahgat) alias Nab-Baand Son of Abdul Khaliq Bhagat resident of Frisal area of Kulgam fell down in the courtyard of his house & then he was shifted to nearest Hospital where from the doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura, where his breathed his last on Sunday around 04:30am.

Ghulam Nabi Bhat was the towering personality in the field of Kashmiri Music, He had transformed old music into new and brought Kashmiri music to a new level. (KF)
