DGP announces reward of 2 lakh for villagers; Weapons also recovered from apprehended militants
Jammu, July 03 (KF): The villagers of Tuksan in Mahore sub-division of Reasi district have apprehended two militants of LeT, police said here on Sunday.
An official told the (KNO) that two militants of LeT were apprehended by villagers along with weapons in Tuksan village of the district.
He said that DGP J&K police has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for the villagers.
The official added that 2 AK rifles, 7 grenades and a pistol have also been recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, Jammu zone police on its official Twitter handle identified the militants as Faizal Ahmed Dar S/O Bashir Ahmed Dar of Pulwama and a categorised militant Talib Hussain Haider Shah of Rajouri. (KF)
