JKP, CRPF organises TRI-COLOR Rally in Kokernag

Srinagar, Aug 13 (KF): Amid a nationwide celebration to commemorate 75 years of Independence, 164 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans and DySP Kokernag conducted a Tiranga rally at Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday. The CRPF and Police organised the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Kokernag. With Tricolours in their hand, the CRPF and Police Jawans marched proudly on the roads of Kokernag celebrating the country’s Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.

The Rally was led by 164 Battalion CRPF and SPDO Kokernag.

Hundreds of employees of various departments include Students, BDC, DDC Members and Muncipal President Kokernag participated in the Tiranga Rally with Tricolour in their hands.

People were seen chanting slogans of Har Ghar Tiranga and patriotic songs reverberated through the town during the rally.

Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched to encourage Indians worldwide to hoist the National flag on their homes between 13 to 15 August. This campaign will serve as a reminder to citizens’ dedication to nation-building ahead of the 75th year of Independence.

It’s main goal is to inculcate a sense of patriotism in the hearts of citizens and raise awareness about the importance of National Flag. (KF)
