Indian Army organises Free Medical Camp in Ramban

Srinagar, Sep 08 (KF): A Medical Camp was conducted by 23 Rashtriya Rifles at Chirwari of Ramban District for people from poor economic backgrounds having limited access to medical care.

To Provide health facilities Army’s medical team comprising of an officer along with Nursing Assistants distribute free medicines and free Health Checkups for local Population. More than 720 patients including eldery, Children,women etc were provided with medical advise and medicines alongwith rendering insightful awareness on issues like positive health practices, family planning and adopting good hygiene for a healthy life.

This noble intiative by conducted by Army was appreciated by the local populace and they appeals to held more awareness camps in farflung and remote areas of Ramban.
