IMD Predicts Heavy Snowfall in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 30 (KF):  The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a forewarning for Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, predicting significant rain and snowfall over the next two days. From January 28 to February 3, Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh are all expected to receive light to moderate, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall.

The IMD highlights a particular concern for isolated heavy rainfall and snowfall in Kashmir on January 30 and 31, with similar conditions impacting Himachal Pradesh on January 31.

Residents and travelers in these areas are urged to exercise caution and stay informed about the latest weather developments.
