GDC Anantnag organises programme on Beti Bachav Beti Padav

Anantnag, July 26 (KF): NSS Unit and Debates and Seminar Committee of GDC Anantnag today organised a seminar cum rally on “Beti Bachav Beti Padav”.

The Programme was hosted by Beniksha Nazir, a 4th Sem.student, a NSS Volunteer.
Prof. Syed Javaid Hussain gave the welcome address and presided over the session. Prof. Mubashir Kaul and Prof. Zeenat Khurshid were the speakers of the day and they deliberated on the theme. Student Speakers Alima Fayaz, 3rd Sem and Asmat Ayub, 3rd Sem also have their words on the said topic.

The session was concluded by vote of thanks presented by Dr. Waheed Ahmad Khanday.
Seminar was followed by a rally march within the college campus in which NSS Volunteers displayed placards and banners highlighting the slogan “Beti Bachav Beti Padav”.

It is pertinent to mention here that the programme was organized under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav and Har Ghar Tiranga. (KF)
