ADC appeals aspirants to report centers on time.
ANANTNAG, July 16 (KF): Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gh Hassan Shiekh today chaired a joint meeting of civil and police officers here and reviewed arrangements being put in place for transparent and orderly conduct of NEET- UG 2022 exams in the district.
The exam is being conducted by National Testing Agency.
The District Nodal Officer, NTA apprised that examination is being held in 11 designated centres of District Anantnag, in which 5400 candidates are taking up the prestigious examination.
The ADC on the occasion desired best possible coordination between civil and police administration for ensuring transparent and smooth conduct of the examinations.
He also advised students to plan their journey towards examination centres timely, even as he called upon security officers to facilitate the hassle free movement of the candidates holding valid admit cards.
In a press briefing, Sheikh said all arrangements have been made for smooth and orderly conduct of NEET-UG examinations in the district. He said section 144 shall remain imposed around notified exam centers for preventing outside interference.
The meeting was attended by officers of Police, CRPF, Traffic, Information departments and other concerned officers including Nodal Officer of NTA. (KF)
