50-Year-Old woman Killed in Bear Attack in Anantnag Area

Anantnag, 28 July (KF) : A 50-year-old woman was mauled to death by a bear in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.

Official sources told Kashmir First said that the woman identified as Zeba Begum wife of Ab Reham Chopan was attacked and grievously injured by the bear in her native village of Gadole Kokernag.

Soon the locals shifted her to nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

A police official confirmed the death of the woman due to attack by the wild animal. (KF)
