Ramban, Sep 03 (KF): The Indian Army along in collobration with Rural Self employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban kickstarted 30 days Poultry farming workshop at remote region of Ramban. The workshop was inaugurated by Officials from Army and RSETI at Kaona village in Khari Tehsil of Banihal Subdivision.
35 volunteer youth registered themselves for the workshop during the awareness drive carried out by Army and RSETI.
The 30 day training workshop will focus on methodology of functioning of poultry enterprise efficiently with low cost, low mortality, quicker turnover & higher profits.
The course will also impart training on poultry welfare to incl proper housing care, hygiene practices, vaccination & symptoms of sickness of birds.
The trainees will also be acquainted with EDP (Entrepreneurship Development programme) including time management, problem solving, risk taking and goal setting for their business.
Indian Army officials, RSETI faculty & J&K Bank Branch Manager, khari interacted with the trainees and explained the benefits of govt sponsored schemes for the upliftment of rural youths in the field of self employment such as, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima yojna (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri jeevan jyoti Bima yojna (PMJJBY) Atal pension Yojana (APY) & tarun kishore and Shishu Mudra loan schemes.
The AWAAM paid their gratitude to the Indian Army and RSETI for the noble initiatives aimed at youth constructive engagement and empowerment.
Prominent citizens expressed optimism for future prosperity of the region through positive engagement of youth. (KF)
