NC Won’t Form Any Alliances for Assembly Elections: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Aug 11: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Monday said that made National Conference would not form any alliances for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing rumors and speculation, he said, “We don’t talk about speculations.

Our agenda is crucial for the development, happiness, and protection of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Without this, the people have no other option but to adopt our agenda.”

On importance of the party’s platform, Farooq said that he hope that NC will move forward on its own strength.

At that time, we will ask our people what is best for us.”

On the role of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) and the Government of India in decision-making, Farooq said that the decision-making is somewhere else.

“We believe that militancy has not ended; it is under control. But the biggest change is that people want peace, progress, and happiness.”

On his own participation in the elections, Farooq said he will fight the elections, and Nc will stand on its own feet. “I am not dead; I will fight the elections wherever needed.”(KNS)
