MeT predicts intermittent rains in J&K till July 24

Srinagar, July 18: Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted intermittent light to moderate rains and thundershowers at many places of Jammu and Kashmir till July 24.

A MeT official informed that the weather will likely be generally cloudy with intermittent light to moderate rains and thundershowers at many places of Jammu and Kashmir till July 18.

He said from July 19th to 21st the weather conditions will likely be partly to generally cloudy with brief intermittent spells of rains and thundershowers at isolated to scattered places of J&K.

He also said from July 22nd to 24th the weather conditions will remain likely generally cloudy with intermittent spells of rain and thundershower at many places.

The official added that in the meanwhile intense showers for brief period with possibility of landslides, mudslides and shooting stones at few vulnerable places may occur.
