JKRERA Chairperson, H&UDD Comm/Secretary & Senior Officials Inspect Rakh e Gund Akhsha Township

Srinagar, Jan 29 (KF):  In a significant development for the Rakh e Gund Akhsha Township project, a team of high-ranking officials conducted a comprehensive inspection yesterday. The delegation, led by Shri Satish Chandra IAS (Retd.), Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Real Estate Regulatory Authority (JKRERA), and Smt. Mandeep Kaur IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Housing & Urban Development Department (H&UDD), aimed to assess the progress of the township’s development and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.

The inspection comes at a crucial juncture for the Rakh e Gund Akhsha Township, envisioned as a modern and well-equipped residential community in the vicinity of Srinagar.

Spread across 3000 Kanals in its first phase, the project has already witnessed the allotment of 428 plots through a transparent draw held in June 2023.

The township’s strategic location, roughly 1 kilometer from the Bemina Bypass National Highway, and its proximity to the upcoming Medicity and New High Court Complex have further fueled anticipation among prospective residents.

During the inspection, the officials received detailed briefings on the project’s progress. They were informed about the plans for a 1.75-kilometer Master Plan Road, which will serve as a vital link between the township, the Medicity, the New High Court Complex, and the National Highway Bypass.

This crucial infrastructure development will enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents, contributing to the overall convenience and vibrancy of the community.

The inspection also emphasized the importance of adhering to building regulations and quality standards. The officials interacted with representatives of the developer and construction workers to gain firsthand insights into the project’s execution.

Their focus on ensuring quality construction and adherence to safety protocols underscores the commitment to creating a livable and sustainable township for residents.

The visit by JKRERA Chairperson Shri Satish Chandra IAS (Retd.) and H&UDD Commissioner/Secretary Smt. Mandeep Kaur IAS has instilled confidence among stakeholders and prospective residents.

It signifies the government’s dedication to the successful development of the Rakh e Gund Akhsha Township, adhering to ethical and responsible practices.

The coming days are expected to bring further updates and announcements regarding the project’s progress.

With the inspection marking a crucial milestone, the Rakh e Gund Akhsha Township is steadily taking shape, paving the way for a thriving and well-planned community in the region. (KF)
