J&K Police Attach House of LeT OGW in Budgam

Budgam, Jan 29 (KF):  In a significant action against terror financing, Jammu and Kashmir police today attached the residential house of an Over Ground Worker (OGW) affiliated with the proscribed Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant outfit in Budgam district.

The accused, identified as Mohammad Ramzan Mir, Son of Abdul Salam Mir Resident of Rudbugh Magam of central Kashmir’a Budgam district. who is an OGW of the proscribed Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) reportedly used the house, acquired through proceeds of terrorism, to harbor LeT militants.

The action was taken under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) following investigations into FIR No. 05/2023. (KF)
