DSEJ Announces 40-Day Summer Break In Summer Zone Schools

Jammu, May 31: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has announced a 40-day summer vacation for all Government and recognized private schools falling under the summer zone of Jammu division.

As per an order, the vacation will begin from June 7 and continue till July 16, 2025, for students.

Teaching staff, however, have been directed to report back to schools on July 14 for preparations including cleanliness, lesson and timetable planning, readiness of teaching materials, and arrangements for online facilities.

Further, teachers have been directed to remain available for any online guidance during the vacation.

The order warned that failure to comply with the instructions by school heads or teachers will invite disciplinary action.
