“Car Crash on Udhampur in J&K Kills Four, Injures One”

Srinagar, Jan 04 (KF):   Four members of a family were killed, and one was critically injured on Sunday after a car was crushed between two trucks in the Salora area of Udhampur district, officials said.

An official said that the car, travelling from Jammu to Udhampur, collided with two trucks at Salora, resulting in serious injuries to five occupants.

He said that all the injured were rushed to GMC Udhampur, where four were pronounced dead, while another was referred to GMC Jammu for further treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Nitin Dogra, son of Mohan Lal; Ritu Dogra, wife of Nitin Dogra; Khushi Dogra, daughter of Nitin Dogra; and another daughter Vani Dogra of Jammu.

The injured was identified as Brinda Dogra, daughter of Nitin Dogra. (KF)
