Baramulla Man Involved In Disturbance Of Law & Order Booked Under PSA

Srinagar, Jan 20 (KF): A man has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Baramulla district of North Kashmir for his involvement in disturbance of law and order, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Saturday.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla district in a press release said, While acting tough against anti-national elements, a man namely Nasir Ahmad Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie, a resident of Raipora Palhallan has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.

The booked person has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu, the press release said.

The person is a hard-core instigator, many cases are registered against him and was involved in disturbance of Law & Order and subversion.

Despite his involvement in many FIRs, he did not mend his anti-national & social activities, the press release said.  (KF)
