Srinagar, Aug 14: An army officer has been injured in an ongoing gunfight in the Assar area of the Jammu’s Patnitop area, Army said Wednesday.
The army said that the officer was injured during a search operation in the area even as they have recovered “war like stores” from the spot.
“Op Assar: Update Search for the terrorists continues amidst heavy firefight. One officer has been injured while leading the search party. War like stores have been recovered as operations continue,” army’s White Knight Corps posted on their official X-handle.
The injured officer as per sources has been identified as Captain Deepak.
