Srinagar, Jan 23 (KF): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is conducting a second raid as part of its ongoing investigation into the fire services scam.
The raid is being carried out at the residence of Gurjeet Singh, located at House No. 46, Friends Colony, Allochi Bagh in Srinagar.
Sources confirmed to Kashmir Dot Com that the raid is linked to the same case involving irregularities in the selection process for Fireman and Fireman Drivers in the Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Department.
The investigation has already seen a raid at the residence of retired KAS officer Mohd Yaqoob Dar in Anantnag district earlier today.
The ACB is probing several individuals, including members of the Departmental Recruitment Board, the Technical Committee, officers and officials of the F&ES Department, and others involved in the recruitment process.
The investigation also targets M/S LMES IT LLP, its main partner Maharaj Krishan Wali, and the beneficiaries of the irregularities. (KF)
