15 Officers Deputed as Camp Directors for Amarnath Yatra 2024

Srinagar, June 14: In a move to ensure the smooth conduct of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2024, the government has deputed 15 officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.

As per the order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the officers will serve as Camp Directors and Additional Camp Directors at various camps along the pilgrimage route.

It reads that the Controlling Officers are instructed to relieve the aforementioned officers so they can report to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.

The specific date for this reporting will be communicated separately by the Board.

The exact deployment locations for these officers will be determined by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, it reads.

During their deputation to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, these officers will continue to draw their salaries from their current places of posting. They are expected to return to their original postings immediately after the conclusion of the Yatra-2024, it further reads. (KNS)
